Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about construction manpower recruitment from Pakistan

What construction roles can PPA recruit from Pakistan?
PPA recruits across all construction trades — civil engineers, site supervisors, steel fixers, masons, carpenters, scaffolders, electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, crane operators, and general laborers. All candidates are trade-tested through NAVTTC-certified centers.
Can PPA supply workers for mega projects requiring hundreds of workers?
Yes. PPA has experience mobilizing large construction crews of 100–1000+ workers for mega projects. Our extensive database of pre-screened construction workers and established sourcing channels across Pakistan enable rapid scaling to meet project timelines.
What safety training do construction workers receive?
All construction workers receive pre-departure safety orientation covering working at heights, scaffolding safety, confined space awareness, PPE usage, and site-specific HSE protocols. Workers deployed to supervisory roles typically hold NEBOSH or IOSH certifications.
How quickly can PPA mobilize construction workers?
Standard mobilization is 30–45 days from demand letter to workers on-site. For urgent mega project ramp-ups, expedited processing within 15–20 days is available for candidates with current certifications and valid trade test results.
Does PPA handle visa processing for construction workers?
Yes. PPA manages complete Pakistan-side processing: GAMCA medical, document attestation through MOFA, embassy visa stamping, and Protectorate clearance. Work permits and site access from the destination country are handled by the employer.
What trade testing is required for construction workers?
All workers undergo practical skills verification at NAVTTC-certified testing centers. Since November 2025, PakSoftSkills assessment is mandatory for all departing Pakistani workers. Welders undergo welding procedure qualification tests with third-party inspection.
Can PPA provide both skilled tradesmen and general laborers?
Yes. PPA recruits the full spectrum — from qualified engineers and certified tradesmen to semi-skilled workers and general laborers. Crew compositions are customized to match employer requirements and project specifications.
What is PPA’s experience in construction manpower?
PPA has been supplying construction manpower to GCC projects since 1975 — over 50 years. We’ve deployed 20,000+ construction workers to major projects across Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Turkey.
